Welcome to Resin Figure Manufacturer

Resin enables crisp details, smooth surfaces, and premium paint results, making it ideal for designer toys, limited editions, and brand mascots. Compared to injection PVC, resin casting avoids costly steel tooling and supports flexible low MOQs, but is more labor-intensive with softer silicone molds that wear over time.

"I was terrified to wire money overseas until I found ArtToy. They didn't just print my file; they taught me how to optimize my sculpt for casting. My drop of 50 figures sold out in 10 minutes, and the quality was flawless."

Alex Carter

Creative Director, Fashion Art Brand

"We struggled to find a manufacturer who could execute Custom Resin Figures with the level of crisp, microscopic detail our brand demands. ArtToy delivered a heavy, premium-feeling product that perfectly matches our prototype. Highly recommended for high-end collectibles."

Sarah Jenkins

CEO, Fashion Art Toy Design Company.

"Finding a manufacturer willing to produce high-quality resin figures at a low MOQ was nearly impossible until I found ArtToy. They treated my small batch order with the same precision as a mass production run. The crisp detailing and premium weight of the final resin casts are incredible."

How to Custom Resin Figure?

●●●

You want low risk, clear steps, and pro finish. You get that here. We align your art to production rules. We protect your IP. We ship with safe packing. We pass global safety needs.

01

Concept & Vector Submission

The process begins when you submit your 2D designs to us. These are often vector files (Illustrator) or character sheets detailing front, side, and back views. At this stage, we evaluate your design for "manufacturability"—identifying thin parts that might break or center-of-gravity issues that would prevent the figure from standing.

02

3D Modeling (Digital Sculpting)

Our digital artists convert your 2D assets into high-resolution 3D models. This step is critical for verifying proportions and volumetric aesthetics. We present the digital model as the first "proof" you see, allowing for adjustments before any physical material is consumed.

03

Prototyping via SLA/DLP Printing

Once you approve the 3D model, we create a physical master using industrial-grade 3D printers. We utilize Stereolithography (SLA) or Digital Light Processing (DLP) printers because they use photosensitive resin to build layers as thin as 25-50 microns, ensuring the prototype is virtually identical to the digital file.

04

Master Preparation & Surface Finishing

The raw 3D print is not ready for molding, as it possesses microscopic "layer lines." Our skilled artisans manually sand and prime the master prototype repeatedly to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. We consider this step vital, as every imperfection on the master will be replicated in the silicone mold and subsequent casts.

05

Silicone Mold Fabrication

Unlike the expensive steel molds used for injection molding, our resin production utilizes room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone molds. We degas liquid silicone to remove air bubbles and pour it around the master. Once cured, we carefully cut the mold open—requiring significant skill to hide "seam lines"—and remove the master.

06

Vacuum Casting

We pour Polyurethane resin, often mixed with hardeners and fillers like stone powder (for polystone), into the silicone molds. To ensure no air bubbles ruin the cast, we often place the molds in vacuum chambers or pressure pots during the curing process.

07

Demolding and Post-Processing

We remove the cured resin figures (blanks) from the molds. They emerge with "gates" and "vents"—excess resin channels used to fill the mold. We manually clip and sand these flush with the figure's surface.

08

Decoration and Assembly

We paint the blank figures using a combination of spray masks (for large areas), airbrushing (for gradients), and hand-painting (for eyes and fine details). We may use pad printing for logos. If your figure consists of multiple parts, we assemble it using strong adhesives.

09

Quality Control and Packaging

We inspect each unit for paint defects or casting flaws. We fabricate custom packaging—ranging from simple polybags to elaborate window boxes or blister packs—to house your specific figure securely, often using die-cut foam to mitigate the risk of breakage during shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our products and services.
If you cannot find what you are looking for, feel free to contact our support team.
Resin (Polyurethane) is the preferred material for high-end fashion collectibles due to its ability to capture microscopic details and sharp edges that soft vinyl cannot. It offers a heavier, "premium" component weight, making it ideal for limited-edition statues and prototypes where fidelity to the original art is paramount.
We understand that exclusivity drives the art toy market. ArtToy supports a High-Mix, Low-Volume production model with an MOQ starting at just 100 pieces. This allows independent artists and fashion brands to launch exclusive "drops" without the inventory risk associated with mass-market manufacturing.
Absolutely. We specialize in advanced post-processing techniques essential for fashion aesthetics. Our capabilities include Electroplating (Chrome/Gold finish), Flocking (Velvet texture), high-gradient airbrushing, and matte rubberized coatings to match your brand's specific visual identity.
We provide engineered packaging solutions to mitigate breakage risks. For every resin project, we design custom EVA foam inserts or sponge housings that perfectly contour the figure, ensuring zero movement inside the rigid box or wooden crate during international shipping.
Our facility scales with your vision. We produce everything from intricate 3-inch blind box figures to 1:4 scale statues. We also manufacture large-format Fiberglass sculptures (up to 6 feet/2 meters) perfect for retail window displays, pop-up events, or art exhibitions.
Yes, mixed media is a trend we fully support. We can integrate clear resin parts, die-cast metal accessories, or tailored cut-and-sew fabric clothing onto the resin figure, creating a unique texture contrast favored in high-end streetwear collectibles.
Our in-house design team specializes in "Concept to Casting." We can translate your 2D sketches or fashion illustrations into high-fidelity 3D models. We optimize the geometry for resin casting, ensuring the final piece retains the artistic integrity of your original drawing.
Speed to market is crucial for fashion drops. Typically, 3D prototyping takes 7-9 days. Silicone mold creation takes roughly 10-12 days. Production (casting, polishing, and painting) for 100-300 pieces usually takes 30-45 days, depending on the complexity of the paint application.

Launch your custom Resin figure with low MOQ and full support. Make it fast. Make it clean. Make it ready to ship.
